President of Vision 360, Andrée Jetté is a bilingual keynote speaker, author, and executive coach with more than 30 years in stress management, emotional intelligence, and organizational behaviour. She has taught at the University of Sherbrooke and appeared on radio and television as a leading authority in her field.

Her approach blends neuroscience, quantum physics, and positive psychology into programmes that are practical, concrete — and delivered with Andrée's signature humour. Audiences leave with tools they can use the same afternoon.

Five minutes of laughter and your endorphins will be stimulated for the next hour or so. You will feel a euphoric sensation of well-being and peace of mind. Our endorphins are "hormones of pleasure" and can be stimulated anytime by our five senses. Laughing is without a doubt the easiest and most efficient way to stimulate your pituitary gland — where endorphins and catecholamines are produced.

The medical body is becoming more and more aware of the virtues of laughter. The science of psycho-neuro-immunology — studying the effects of mental attitudes on the immune system — is proving that this system is weakened when people are under stress, depressed, or feeling lonely. If negative emotions can provoke harmful chemical changes in the body, the opposite is equally true: laughter, pleasure, and positive emotions produce highly beneficial modifications.

Laughter produces therapeutic effects on the throat, the abdomen, and the lungs. Anxiety, stress, and tension are released, and the overflow drains away. We unwind and recover a physical, mental, and emotional equilibrium. Laughing brings people together, defuses tensions, modifies our attitude, and changes our way of seeing things. Laughing makes you feel good — we feel it instinctively. It is now time to understand that life is not only a valley of tears, but also a valley of laughter.
